台湾海洋大学水产养殖系教授，美国德州农工大学博士，长期致力于水生动物配子冷冻保存方面的研究，同时也进行以DNA 分子标记技巧探索各海域海洋生物族群的遗传结构及地理分布方面的研究，试探演化的奧秘。
