Chengwen Xue
Research Assistant (2024.8-~)

Chengwen Xue graduated with a master’s degree from Xiamen University in 2024, specializing in the automated classification of marine algae and few-shot learning techniques. He has recently become a research assistant in Professor Yibin Huang's laboratory, where he is primarily engaged in the routine operation, upkeep, and administration of the lab facilities, as well as active involvement in associated research projects. Outside of his professional commitments, Chengwen has a keen interest in exploring and enjoying fine cuisine and regularly partakes in badminton.
薛成文于2024年在厦门大学获得硕士学位,硕士期间研究的重点是海洋藻类的自动化分类技术,及小样本图像分类技术。他现在加入了黄毅彬老师的团队,担任实验室科研助理一职,主要负责课题组日常运行、维护和管理工作,并且参与相关项目课题研究。业余时间,他喜欢探索美食和打羽毛球。

Yanting Du
Ph.D Student (2024.9-~)

Yanting Du obtained her master's degree in Environmental Chemistry from Minnan Normal University, with a focus on marine chemistry. She has a profound interest and passion for the mysterious ocean. In 2024, Yanting Du began pursuing a Ph.D. in Marine Chemistry at Xiamen University and was awarded the MEL Scholarship. Outstanding Doctoral Scholarship. Her research focuses on phytoplankton phenology in the North Pacific Ocean and their regulatory mechanisms on the carbon export process. Outside of her academic and research pursuits, she enjoys movies, gourmet food, and traveling, embodying a curiosity about the world and a spirit of exploration.
杜燕婷硕士就读于闽南师范大学环境化学专业,并专注于海洋化学方向,对神秘的海洋有着深厚兴趣和热爱。杜燕婷于2024年进入厦门大学攻读海洋化学专业的博士学位并获得MEL优秀博士奖学金,研究重点是北太平洋海域浮游植物的物候变化及其对碳输出过程的调控机制。在科研学习之外,她热爱电影、美食以及旅行,对世界的好奇心和探索精神。

Xiao Chen
(MS student (2024.9- ~)

Chen Xiao studied Guangdong Ocean University as a bachelor's degree, and joined Professor Yibin Huang's laboratory as a master's student in 2024 to conduct graduate work. Currently, her research involves integrating a global database of 14C-determined primary productivity in the hope of constructing more accurate primary productivity algorithms through machine learning. Outside of research, she enjoys musicals and movies.
陈晓本科就读于广东海洋大学,于2024年作为硕士生加入黄毅彬老师实验室开展研究生工作。目前,她的研究内容是集成初级生产力的全球数据库,希望通过机器学习构建更准确的初级生产力算法。科研工作之外,她喜欢音乐剧和电影。

Jinpeng Zhou
(MS student (2024.9- ~)

Zhou Jinpeng earned the bachelor degree at Hengyang Normal University, majoring in Environmental Engineering. With great passion in exploring the unknown, he decided to pursue further studies and research at Xiamen University and joined Yibin Huang's research group as a master's student in 2024, where he will explore marine ecosystems. In the spare time, he enjoys reading books, watching movies, and playing table tennis.
周金鹏本科就读于衡阳师范学院,于2024年作为硕士研究生加入黄毅彬课题组。本科时期所学专业为环境工程,在毕业时决定来厦门大学进行更深层次的学习和研究,并将在这里探索海洋生态系统。闲暇之余喜欢阅读书籍,看电影,打乒乓球。
