戴民汉教授领衔的海洋碳循环研究组(英文:Ocean Carbon Group, 简称OCG) 隶属于厦门大学近海海洋环境科学国家重点实验室。她是于1999年戴民汉教授回国启动国家杰出青年科学基金课题(“珠江三角洲及其邻近的南海北部海域中碳的生物地球化学循环研究”)以后逐步发展起来的。研究组以海洋生源要素生物地球化学为主要研究方向,研究海洋碳循环及其与氮、磷、硅、铁等生源要素的耦合与非耦合关系,揭示海洋生物地球化学与气候变化、生态环境的相互作用关系,为海洋的可持续发展和利用提供科技支撑。
研究组有固定研究人员16人(教授11人,副教授4人,助理教授1人;其中博导9人,中国科学院院士1人,“闽江学者”特聘教授1人,“洪堡学者”2人,优秀青年基金获得者2人,南强青年拔尖人才3人),博士后2人,工程技术人员21人,在读博士研究生42人,在读硕士研究生49人。
近20年来,OCG围绕河口、边缘海海-气界面二氧化碳的交换、海洋无机碳/有机碳生物地球化学、海洋颗粒物动力学及其对元素生物地球化学循环的作用、痕量金属和放射性核素(Th, Ra, Pu等)地球化学及其环境效应等内容,先后承担了多项国家自然科学基金委(NSFC)面上项目、NSFC重点项目、NSFC重大项目、创新研究群体科学基金,科技部“973”、“863”项目及课题的研究,目前主持科技部国家重大科学研究计划“南海碳循环过程、机理及其全球意义”。OCG研究组已建立了国际标准的海洋化学分析测试方法,在应用同位素(含放射性和稳定同位素)示踪定量海洋生物地球化学过程、物理海洋-生物地球化学耦合研究等方面形成特色,相关研究在国内外均享有嘉誉。研究组成员已在国际学术期刊上发表论文200余篇,这些期刊包括Science, Nature Geoscience, Nature Communications, Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, Earth and Planetary Science Letters, Limnology and Oceanography, Journal of Geophysical Research, Global Biogeochemical Cycles, Geophysical Research Letters, Environmental Science & Technology, Marine Chemistry, Biogeosciences等主流期刊。
