Research Interests
- We are interested in developing strategies to mitigate anthropogenic CO2 emissions, and address the current knowledge and capability gaps in approaches, methodologies and technology required for the effective geological reservoir selection and environmental monitoring of offshore carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) sites. Current research interests include:
- 1. Offshore Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS)
- 2. Bubble Acoustics and Signal Processing
- 3. Underwater Acoustic Communications
- In our research, we incorporate interdisciplinary investigations for selecting potential offshore geological reservoirs, and develop theoretical models and practical tools for the detection, localization, classification, and quantification of gas emissions that may occur at the storage sites.
