一、课题组简介:
抗生素耐药性问题已成为影响人类健康和动物养殖业可持续发展的重大问题。抗菌肽是一类生物体中普遍存在并具有广谱抗微生物活性的小分子多肽,在防御病原微生物中起重要作用。不同于抗生素,不易产生细菌耐药性,被科学家预为“天然抗生素”,因而是研发抗耐药性细菌、真菌的理想活性物质,抗菌肽产品的研发对于保障我国医疗、食品、养殖等多个领域的健康安全具有重大意义。
自2001年起针对抗生素滥用和细菌耐药性等严重问题,致力于海洋动物新型抗菌肽的发掘与开发利用研究,研发可替代抗生素的新型生物制品,以保障人类和动物健康。20多年来,已先后主持完成国家“863”、 国家海洋公益专项、国家自然基金联合基金重点、福建省重大等40多项省部级课题;从我国多种海洋经济动物中分离鉴定出百余种新抗菌肽,其中80多种新型抗菌肽为国内外首次发现并命名,揭示不同抗菌肽的功能和机制,包括抗耐药性细菌、真菌、肿瘤、病毒等体内外活性及其免疫保护作用等,发表SCI论文130多篇,已获得国内外发明专利授权42件(其中美国授权4件);其研究成果获得国内外多项奖项,为独立自主开发应用海洋动物抗菌肽奠定坚实基础。
为推进抗菌肽的产业化,通过不断完善新型抗菌肽基因工程的高效表达体系,在企业建立了规模化发酵生产工艺,实现了抗菌肽的低成本产业化生产;开发出高效抗细菌、真菌及病毒等不同用途的抗菌肽产品,获批我国迄今唯一的2个海洋动物抗菌肽生产应用安全证书;首次在我国创建了海洋动物抗菌肽全产业链工程体系;抗菌肽产品在畜牧水产养殖、食品、日化护肤品以及医药健康等行业具有巨大应用前景。2017年以来,海洋动物抗菌肽产品已产业化应用,已有5件国家发明专利转让企业,经济社会效益显著,成果总体达到国际领先水平。
研究成果分别获 2022年度福建省技术发明奖一等奖、2023年10月亚太海洋生物技术学会成立30多年来首次设立的 “海洋生物技术奖(学术或工业界)”、2023年11月第二十五届中国国际高新技术成果交易会优秀产品奖等奖项。其创新性成果先后在福建省科技厅官网、福建日报、海西晨报、厦门日报、厦门卫视等多家主流媒体报道,为我国海洋生物资源的高效开发利用和绿色制造,起到了引领示范作用。
