本课题组隶属于水声通信与海洋信息技术教育部重点实验室(厦门大学)。实验室于2005年底获教育部批准依托厦门大学筹建,2009年7月通过教育部组织的验收,并正式向社会开放运行。实验室主要研究方向是水声通信、海洋信息技术。研究重点是:①海洋声场声信道;②水声通信与网络;③多媒介立体通信;④海洋遥感;⑤海洋数值模拟与分析;⑥声信息与声探测。实验室现在固定研究人员37人,其中教授15人(博士生导师12人)、副教授13人、助理教授9人;另有技术人员14人,行政人员3人,流动人员14人。实验室固定研究人员中,有国家教委跨世纪优秀人才1人,福建省新世纪优秀人才2人,厦门大学特聘教授1人。研究人员的平均年龄39岁,45岁以下占70%;已形成了一支以高水平学术带头人为核心、中青年科学家为中坚力量、年龄结构合理、团结向上、充满活力的科学研究队伍。详情参见http://uac.xmu.edu.cn.
