    讲座简介:
China has already practiced the seasonal fishery closure in the East China Sea, but its scientific basis has much to be desired. After summarizing the spawning periods of 108 commercial fish species in East China Sea, an imperative adjustment for the fishery closure was recommended to maximize the protection of spawning cohorts.
Taiwan has one of the largest worldwide longliner fisheries for tunas. From a total of 411 million hooks, climate variability (among El Niño/normal/La Niña periods) affecting the distribution and concentration of Pacific bigeye tuna was examined for sustainable management.
